Mena Alexandra Suvari, born February 13, 1979, in America is an actress also a fashion designer, and model. She started her modeling career in 1990. She soon shifted into acting following guest appearances on television series like Boy Meets World or High Incident. The film debut came with the drama Nowhere, that was released in the year 1997. The performances she made were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded a BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of public attention. Following that, she starred as the lead on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) along with American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun the 2002 independent drama film and Trauma (2004) thrillers were also featured in her career. In 2004, she starred in HBO's series Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award 2005 as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a series of movies which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden.
